National Geographics InfographicsBooks
A lot has changed since National Geographic launched in 1888. One thing that has remained constant is our thirst for knowledge, and National Geographic has always been on hand to teach us more about the universe we live in. Taschen have gone over all of the editions from the last 128 years of the famous magazine and selected the best infographics. The result is this gorgeous anthology, National Geographic Infographics. There are seven categories of learning: History, World of Plants, Animal World, Being Human, Science and Technology, The Planet and Space. There’s much to learn from the anatomy that allows a cheetah’s lightning speed to the rise and fall of the ancient Roman Empire. In an age where we carry access to all of human knowledge in our pockets, this is an excellent reminder that sometimes it’s still nice to pick up a book and learn something new.
