The Apple AirTag is the company’s take on a small, electronic tracker. However, it certainly does have some features that distance itself from its competitors. AirTags run on the Apple “Find My” network that iPhones, Macs, and iPads already currently use. Anytime a device on this network comes within range of another one, it automatically updates that device’s location, completely anonymously. This means that if you lose the item your Apple AirTag is tracking, its position will most likely be updated very frequently as other people with Apple products go near it. AirTags have a replaceable, one-year battery and are available for $29 or as a 4 pack for $99.
